Folgende Info habe ich in den Kommentaren zu “Please install the SharePoint updates on your server” von Shane Young gelesen. Es scheint mir ein nützlicher Hinweis zu sein, den ich gerne hier festhalte. Es geht um einen alternativen Weg, den “SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard” zu starten, falls sich dieser nicht normal staren lässt. Nach Updates ist es nötig, diesen zu starten.

During a Support incident Live Meeting session with MS Support I needed to install a hotfix, and the run SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard (SPTCW). This failed, They then told us to run “PSConfig.exe –cmd upgrade –inplace b2b –force”, and stated that this was the way to run SPTCW after installing hotfixes and updates.
